Welcome to  MY BMW Z4 Page

When I started looking for a car, I decided that a Z4 would fit in my budget as I had just sold my Cadillac and did not have that payment anymore. A little convincing of my wife Jackie and I was off and running.  I have had other sports cars over the years and loved them. It is really not a mid life crises or anything just an appreciation of vehicles that do more than just move you down the road. There are many fine cars that will do that. I wanted one that would perform as I like that would be a challenge to drive and that would bring the fun back to driving for me.

As far as performance and handling goes, there really is no comparison to a BMW, other than some very sophisticated super sports cars like Ferraris, Lomberginis etc. The Z, called Zed, will go just about as fast as I am capable of handling a vehicle at my age. I have punched it a couple of times already and have seen the speedometer going way past 100 MPH without even trying. It is very easy to take most corners twice as fast as posted by the highway department.
